Would you let a robot take your place if it was kinder than you? Meet Kagari, a withdrawn child, and Kagami, the stand-in robot who lives Kagari’s life in their place. One day, due to strange circumstances, the two are made to face a question: if one takes the other's place so often, who deserves to be recognized as Kagari themself?
